Xbox360 cannot display a digital signal. That sucks. Analog signal = 1930s TV tech. If you bought this thing, you're a tard.

    PS3 will have DIGITAL outputs.

erm.. you dont need HDMI or DVI for HD, analog component video output is still HD (480i/p, 780i/1080p).
                I died.

Component = analog signal. It's like the difference between 15-pin VGA (analog) and DVI (digital; btw, HDMI is a superset of DVI in a different connector). Resolution and analog/digital are two independent variables. Tube projection HDTVs can display 1080i but they still (mostly) have analog only (e.g. component) inputs.

Bah I dont really care....its still HD...might not be digital but I dont give a shit...

I'm not one of those maniac who wants to have the perfect image...regular HDTV on my LCD TV...(using component cables) is more than enough for me....

and I really dont think it makes any one a retard to buy it because of that...i'd say you're more of a retard if you DONT buy it because of that...I'm pretty sure I couldnt even spot the difference if I saw digital and analog side by side..(assuming they are both 1080i/720p)

But...as it seems the popular choice today! Let's bash Xbox360 because we weren't able to get one! yippi...
