Last hotel I stayed in while there was the Westin in Times Square. It was very nice.

i stayed at the chandler last time in NY. Rooms were on the small side but so are most hotels in nyc. Price wasnt outrageous (about 300 a night) Very high end bed linens and great service. I think its on 32nd and 5th.

The mattress was sooo nice i went out and tried to by one only to find its its a hotel only luxury brand

Thanks....I was told about the Milford Plaza on another board....I might check it out if I can't get a hold of a female that I know there where I can stay for free.

seriously, though, save your dough and stay in midtown, whatever hotel has a deal on hotels.com, affinia or something... were still talking $300 bucks

I stayed at the Days hotel on 8th avenue. Its pretty basic but it's decent and really cheap, and right in the middle of everything. I just need a bed with I stay in a hotel, I dont need anything fancy. http://www.agoda.com/north_america/u...ays_hotel.html

in the meatpacking area the gansavoort is nice plus they have a nice bar
times sq you have the W also great bar

depends on what area you want to stay, also budget. There are many nice hotels however who wants to pay $1000 a night for one. Not me.

I stayed at The Hudson hotel a couple years ago and it was really nice. Rooms are pretty small but very nice. My gf is an interior designer and she loved the Decor of the whole hotel lol.

Also stayed at the Hilton last year, very expensive and crappy rooms. Good location tho.

dont stay at anything near times square youll regret the noise that goes on 24/7, midtown or central park is nicer

I love the Marriott Marquis...it's right in the middle of Times Square which is what I love about it. It's a nice place.
