    Al-Zarwari pushing Daisies?

    BAGHDAD, Iraq - U.S. forces sealed off a house in the northern city of Mosul where eight suspected al-Qaida members died in a gunfight ? some by their own hand to avoid capture. A U.S. official said Sunday that efforts were under way to determine if terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was among the dead.

          That's true .. However I saw a documentary on the man and he is sort of a charasmatic leader. That's hard to replace.

                  thats what people dont seem to understand... there is never a shortage of idiots who will do stupid things, shoot people, blow themselves up etc... but its not so easy to replace charismatic and compelling leaders with more charismatic and compelling leaders.

                          There are multiple reports of this floating around the net. If its true, hopefully there will be enough of him left to provide a little photo shoot for his terrorist buddies( like Uday and Kusai)

                          Probably won't know till they run DNA, fingerprint, and other tests for positive ID.

                              The number of times they have caught or "think they are near to catching" people like bin Laden and Al-Zarwari is more than the population of Iraq.

                              For shit sake.. what's the damned problem about finding one guy, namely bin Laden, who "supposed" to be the reason for a US "war on terror"? I doubt they want to find him.

                                  Dumb fuck aren't you? After the Olmpic bombings and they finally zeroed in on the right person...and knowing the location he was in (a relatively small wooded area)...and after organizing the largest search effort in the history of the United States...he could not be found. Some years later he was arrested by a rookie cop as he had come out of the woods to raid a garbage bin.

                                  Virtually every year a plane is lost that is not found...cars go off the road that are not found...people end up missing that are not found...until years later...even though searches were conducted.

                                  It is suspected that Bin Laden is in an uncontrolled area of Pakistan in a rugged terrain. Pakistan is a sovereign nation and US forces cannot just willy nilly go stomping around the countryside searching for the man...now can they? Even if they could...it could take years before he was actually located and killed or captured.
