When did the world change and become filled with assholes?
It seems every single place I look there is racism. Comments that 5 years ago would never have been said are common place. Everyone appears to believe that this is normal and people who don't like it should shut up and just accept it.
Hell they actually believe the validity of their comments that all negros are mentally inferior or jews are crooked businessmen or all arabs are terrorists.
Don't get me wrong, I'm no saint but I try to slam the stupidity and call the shots as I see them. I do it on a daily basis with the French postal service. But I still try to give each man/woman a chance to prove their merrit regardless of the circumstance of birth/religion/etc.
Like I mean.... WTF???
Am I in a bad Twilight zone episode?
Or am I just stuck in the 80s when we thought the KKK was stupid?

On a positive but related note: Pakistan has been given over 5 billion in pledges for reconstruction. It is a positive sign because a few days ago people I spoke to were still saying, "what's the big deal? It's just a bunch of dead pakis."
