    My Jack Russell just tangled

    ...with an Opossum. I let him outside on the patio and a few minutes later I heard growling. I looked out and he was fighting with an Opossum. The Opossum did not play possum and was fighting back. I intervened by snatching up my Jack Russell...bringing him into the house. He is not showing any signs of injury.

              I opened the door to see if the Opossum was gone as my Jack Russell was going nuts to be let out again. The screen door was shut but my Jack Russell jumped through it ripping out the screen at the bottom. The Opossum appears to have left but now I will have to replace the screen in the screen door.
