Cologroup is getting hooked up!

Just so you know, I have some good news.....

Cologroup is getting hooked up with about $5 Mil from a VC firm called Global Funding. I receive some of the money this week and I am going to hire some additional employees and make big improvements. If you have any suggestions on what you guys want from us...or just a hosting company in general, let me know here or by email, [email protected]

I posted this on here, because I think this is a pretty good deal, because it is not too often that money gets given to companies that are involved in the adult industry and there are a lot of things that could use improvement and money makes that possible. I am really excited about this, and it will be interesting to see what Cologroup comes up with over the next year.

Thanks, ControlThy and Mr. Thumbs....I have been involved with the VC industry for about 3 years and it took a long time to gain the respect of the investors and figure out how to go about getting some backing. Biggest thing is it proves that in these tough times, investors are willing to try something different.

C'mon Mr Thumbs you are being a lil hard on 'ol Jason. I think he was stating it simply and modestly. I would expect him to do something worthwile with it since he has already shown some initiative by creating a pretty decent hosting upstart.

You are so right on. It takes more than a week to get a new account up. Getting webalizer and other small items takes at least 10 days. Cheap price though. I guess you get what you pay for.

Ditto on the support issues. I have a 6 day old ticket that has never been responded to and two e-mails that have gone unanswered in regards to the support tickets.

One of the reasons I chose cologroup was the announcement 3-4 months ago by Jason about their new control panel. This never happened for whatever reason. However, IF the control panel were in place, I could handle my own support needs on these two items.

PS... Billing is always on time.

Yeah, I would say that if there is anything that Cologroup could improve on it would be the amount of time it take to fix problems.
