The only reason I would go RAF is if I could be a pilot. I realize there are other jobs like para gunner and such, however that just doesn't strike me as being as good of a job.
And no it is not immigration driven it all. It comes down to: Would I want to serve as a CDN officer or a British Officer. The decision is pretty simple when you look at funding and activity of forces. The Canadian army is shamefull, which is really too bad for a once strong fighting force.
