from what I remember, MS paid extra to license NVIDIA's chip or "something like that" so that many of the XBOX1 games would work on 360. Most popular games... yes; but not all titles. Doesn't matter though, just keep both consoles. and for those that don't have an xbox yet, they should be $75-$99 (new) real soon. I've bought a few locally for $35 (used/refurb)... so many people are dumping them so that they have cash for the 360, but not enough 360's to go around yet.
I needed about 4 more XBOXs after mine melted down after having them on non-stop for 6+ months. I've gone thru about 20 of them so far for one of my mainstream ventures..
Worth every penny too. Worst part is I haven't had a chance to sit back and actually play any game for at least 3 months.
