WTF is wrong with some people?

So, some people read here that we have a company in Switzerland. In the last two weeks several people from GFY hit me up on ICQ to get some information. Well, actually they wanted tips on how to commit tax evasion without getting caught. Stuff like 'I don't want to pay taxes... if I put my money in a Swiss bank account nobody in my country will know, right?'.

We have companies in several countries, we pay all required taxes and I won't give anybody tips on how to commit tax evasion.

Of course, there are legal ways to save taxes but you need to talk to a specialist as it always depends on many factors.

J B! I am glad to see there are some honest individuals left in this world ... not many, but there are some!

May be it is just me: it seems like more and more persons do not know that great countries, such as Canada and USA, were built and are still developing thanks to honest hard-working individuals, which at the end of the pay their taxes! It is like a community effort.

I can not understand why an adult would chose to live in a country, such as Canada or USA, yet not want to pay their taxes.

If you do not want to pay taxes in US or Canada ... WTF have you not moved.
Is there an anchor hanging from one?s ass? (Doubtful)
Is it a serious lack of motivation? (Most likely reason)
Is it mommy will not let them out of the ?yard?? (Second most likely reason)
Oh, they want someone else to do the work, pay the dues yet provide them with all amenities, infrastructures (that would be the roads, education, health care, etc) and so on.

In some countries the taxes are way too high and I can understand that people want to pay lower taxes. But asking how to commit tax evasion is a bit too much.

The funny thing was that when I told one guy that he can setup a company in Switzerland but needs CHF 100,000 (about $85,000) in capital he said that he doesn't have that much money.

All I can say is that there are now a few more people on my list that I won't do business with

I agree, high taxes suck but you're always free to leave your country and move to another country with lower taxes. And people in Norway are not exactly poor
