    Correction : Referendum

    About Ohio,

Bush managed to get the christian vote out by using the gay marriage referendum at the same time.

I'm sure they didn't vote because of the bad economy on Ohio.

No wonder why there was a massive conservative vote turnout.

    Wow. It was pretty clever.

The conservatives are well-organized in Ohio. I just can't believe people are so insecure and petty that they turn out to vote AGAINST letting someone else do something that doesn't effect their own lives. So lame.

Edit: And it's true about the amendment passing in Ohio, anyway.

I think they think if they can make enough laws against it, then homosexuality will just go away.

Ah, the old head-in-the-sand approach. Good luck with that. I hope Ohio gets a Stealth Queer elected to governer and he gets this shit repealed.

Passed 3-1 here in Kentucky. Keep in mind that this is one of the most conservative states in the country. Liberal gun laws but I cant order liquor/beer/wine off the net and have it shipped here, or porn dvd's. Pretty fucked up state.

They also think being gay is a choice and that gay people just haven't found Jesus yet.

From what I gather Karl Rove's strategy to win was pretty simple.

He knew the election was going to be a close dead heat. So they said how do we find and trigger 4 million people to go our way?

They came up with the Gay marriage angle to do it and apparently flooded every convservative and Republican with that propoganda throughout the midwest to maximize the turnout.

So basically they used the fear of gay marriage being legalized to get Christian conservative gay haters en masse to get out and vote and it worked. They found 4 million of them.

I believe 13 states had the referendum on the ballot and at least eleven voted against gay marriage.

Didn't a few states also have marijuana laws on the ballot too?

I think I read that in every State that had the Gay Marriages on the ballot paper each one returned Bush. When you think that one State was the winning margin you have to hand it to the Republicans they can get it together.

Now let's see what they think of porn.
