Solution to the dollar problem (it will get worse)

According to most currency traders the dollar will continue to devalue over the next 4 years as Bush pushes the US deeper into debt.

I am writing a small script that will detect if the surfer is from the US and bill them via the usual suspects CCBill or Epoch. Any other countries can be redirected to a decent Euro biller. The reasoning why you dont want the to alternatives on the join page is simple. Americans wont buy in any currency other than dollars as it is unpatriotic and the rest of the world wants to be billed in dollars as the currency is worthless so it is as cheap as shit for them. This way you force the retards to pay in their own currency and the guys with money can pay in a decent currency.

I will put this script up on source forge with no guarantees on it as I am giving it away for free. For all foreign webmasters I would say it will give you a 30% increase in revenue instantly and more over the next 4 years as Bush destroys the dollar even more.

Didn't Epoch say recently that they would cancel your account if you used a European billing company as a backup or in conjunction with them?

Good idea but does anyone know of any card processors who are in EU land and pay out in EU or GBP who are worth working with? Then of course there is the issue of what people have mentioned about Epoch's attitude to non-US backup which would rather screw things up...

Nobody seems to be saying much about European processors. My experience has been they either want to charge a ridiculous percentage rate on card transactions (like 30% or something stupid) - OR they want you to have a merchant account - OR they want to charge you something stupid like 1000 UKP a month for use of their membership management system (that was a real quote).

We could really do with someone using the Epoch/CCBill approach but based in Europe and dealing in European currency. Ideally offering to charge in $'s or EU's (which is when this script would come in useful though I suspect the processor may provide it themselves if they have that charging option).

As an afterthought - about a year ago I asked Verotel if they were thinking of offering EU / GBP payouts as an option seeing as they are in Europe... AT THAT time they said they might if there was enough interest. Then I heard nothing about it ever again so I guess there wasn't enough interest... or have I lost touch? Anyone know?

If they were offering payouts in EU/GBP it might even be worth paying the $1500 to go Verotel Pro (as I don't consider Ticketsclub usable personally).
