I was a DJ for a major radio station in Miami, Florida (WWWL - LOVE 94) and I was on the air when that happenned. The UPI / AP Wire services that provided news back then (before tons of cable news, LOL!) were going crazy and bells were ringing...
I was, sadly, the one that was on the airwaves to announce the news...not really too much fun - but, somethig I had to do.
