Seems like it's also a bad day to be gay too

"(AP) In a resounding, coast-to-coast rejection of same-sex marriage, voters in 11 states approved constitutional amendments Tuesday limiting marriage to one man and one woman."

I was also surprised by all that. I knew what the end results would be, but I didn't expect numbers in the 70-80% range. Heh.

Once again, America digs in its heals in the march toward civil rights, while all the truely civilized nations advance.

Many of these measures not only deny "marriage" but same-sex civil-unions and/or all equivalent rights, and may even take away rights that were already protected.
Amend the Kentucky Constitution "to provide that only a marriage between one man and one woman shall be a marriage in Kentucky, and that a legal status identical to or similar to marriage for unmarried individuals shall not be valid or recognized?"
