What exactly does "assed out" mean?

Had a partner of mine that I am mad at send me this message after trying to to get ahold of him for 5 days with no avail, i finally got him on a text message tonight

me - "why didn't you tell me you weren't going to be around for 5 days, I have been trying like mad to get ahold of you"

him - "you got ahold of me...i didn't plan on being assed out"

    wtf does that mean?

Assed out is a term meaning shit out of luck. When you are stranded somewhere you are assed out if you don't have a ride.

nah, he meant to say assed out...he finally replied

i think it has something to do with being "left out in the cold"

i wish people would just use correct engrish and say exactly what they mean

Come to think of it, it sounds pretty sexual - and not in a good way.
