Cowboys tonight?
The fact that the Cowboys beat the Eagles in Dallas on October 9 is most probably working against us here. When an NFL team loses the first of their two games with a divisional rival on the road they tend to win the rematch at home, - or, at least cover the pointspread. It's a motivational thing affecting both teams. Also from a motivational standpoint, the Terrell Owens affair is most likely working in Philadelphia's favor. Nevertheless, I still have to like the Cowboys to win this game outright.
With the Giants' surprising upset by the Vikings yesterday, both these teams figure to be well motivated to win this game. The Giants still lead the division at 6-3, but the Cowboys are at 5-3 and figure to be motivated to move into a tie with New York if they win this game.....(Actually, they'd be ahead of New York because they beat the Giants in Week 6, 16-13.) The Eagles are currently 4-4 and need this game to keep pace. Statistically, my mathematical formulas are predicting Dallas should win by more than a touchdown, maybe by a whole bunch more. Mathematically, we're looking for Dallas to score between 23 and 30 points while Philadephia is held to between 10 and 17 points.....but beware of those motivations mentioned above....
Lines are not moving and haven't all day so plenty of time if you're betting ATS.. total has dropped from 40.5 to 39 with around 60-65% of punters beeing on the over..
