What we can do, however, is upload high quality still images which, if iFriends deem high enough quality, will be marked "HD" (it's just a small little icon under the image or the chathost's archive listing when in browse page). However, if a host has HD still images, s/he still won't appear in the HD showcase unless s/he does not have HD videoclips.

So, if you're looking for high quality still images, you don't have to limit yourself to surfing the HD showcase. When in browse mode, just see if they have that little icon showing under the "archives" link next to their names. The HD showcase is only reliable for HD videoclips. I hope I helped cleared up the confusion as to why some hosts on the showcase don't have high quality still images

As for customers wanting HQ feeds, I agree, but a lot of surfers are just looking for a free chat room or at least cheap private chat. I prefer to think of sites like PrivateFeeds, Flirt4Free, One2One (and any others with very good quality feeds) as the equivalent of those that buy HDTVs - everyone would love to have one, but not everyone can afford it!

So in terms of promoting, I'd point cost-concious surfers to the low-cost/lower quality/free chat sites and the discriminating surfer to the high-quality feeds sites.
