shit, you see the fucking indian kids all running around here. They unload about 12 of em out of each car and they all have south dakota license plates and we are like 20 miles from the border. Fuck em all they aren't getting anything from me unless I throw some old ass food in their bags.Comment

I'd guess around 400 came by here. My neighborhood attracts a few kids from less hospitable areas, but it's fine with me, and the neighbors with whom I spoke. It's a good neighborhood for trick-or-treating. I did a bit of wandering this year escorting some friends' kids, while my friends manned my door, and it's fun seeing some of the cooler pumpkin carvings, and the more elaborately decorated yards and houses.
Even some older high schoolers came by. I've read of people here ticked off at various trick or treaters for various reasons (too old, too early, too late, not from your 'hood, bad costumes, whatever), and I just don't get it. If you don't want to participate, just turn off your lights for a few hours. I think it's a great holiday, it gets people interacting with their community, and everybody's just having a good time!Comment
