    flying to Whistler tomorrow...

    my doctor is finally letting me get on a plane. woohoo, will be nice to get back to the mountains for awhile. is anyone up there right now? is there snow/ice on the streets? i'd love to be able to go on a couple of spirited drives before winter sets in...

                  doing quite a bit better now. heh, can't do fuck all though. i can barely walk more than a couple of feet. we'll just have to see how it goes. hopefully well

                                      the best hotel in Whistler is the Fairmont Chateau Whistler http://www.fairmont.com/whistler/

                                      the Westin is also very nice, and the Four Seasons just opened up, but they are still finishing it off, so i'm not sure that would be the best place to stay right now, while construction is still being done.

                                      of course you could rent out a condo or a house, depending on your budget...

                                                                                      yep. my main flights are Montreal to Vancouver and Edmonton to Vancouver (usually do both at least once a month). luckily both have daily direct executive class flights. MTL to Vancouver is around 5.5 hours...
