A few months back, we were having pasta one night for dinner. Well, you know how when you cook pasta (this particular pasta was angel hair) a little sticks in the pan when you dump it into the strainer to get all the water out? Well, I left the pan in the sink and then the next morning I was going to clean the pan. Some of the angel hair pasta had dried again to it's original hardness and as I slid my hands down into the soapy water, a piece that was stuck to the side STABBED up under my fingernail about 1/2 inch. Now, this stuff usually breaks pretty easily, but I must have just hit it at the perfect angle to where it had enough strength to penetrate the skin. Unreal pain for about 2 weeks over that one. Pulling out the broken piece of pasta was the worst part.
