It was one of the first big kidnaps here in Holland (around 1984 I think). Leader was Cor van Hout (assessinated 3 years ago) and there where Frans Meijer (went crazy), Jan Boellaard (still a big criminal) and Willem Holleeder (one of the biggest criminals in Amsterdam). Target was former owner of Heineken, Freddie Heineken (died of natural causes later).

It was a very spectacular time here in the Netherlands. Later Cor van Hout published a book in which he describes all preperations they took before the kidnap and everything that happened during. Very interesting to read.
