Halloween candy generosity backfires

I just fucked up tonight with one of my wife's new friends.

They all took the kids trick or treating together. My wife invited my son's friend, since she has been trying to make friends with the friend's mom too.

When the kids got back, they rang our doorbell and pretended to be trick or treaters. We had a HUGE bowl of mixed candy, like enough for 100 kids, left over since not many kids hit our house tonight. So for fun I dumped it all out evenly into each kids bag. They got over pound each. The kids were laughing their asses off, screaming like they just won the lottery, and I was throwing candy everywhere like Willy Wonka...

Then the mom fucking flipped! Apparently she was strict about "only one piece from each house". She didn't want too much candy, because she felt like she needed to inspect each piece herself for safety -- lol -- now she'll be up all night!

It never occurred to me that would make anyone mad! Oops!

I gave a shitload of candy out tonight to who I thought were the last couple kids and then about 12 appeared behind them. I was scrambling trying to find more.

People who are that paranoid/strict about Halloween should keep their kids locked inside 24/7. Plus it was very rude of her to do that in front of you as she was your guest.

I heard somewhere that there's been like only one reported case of tained candy during halloween in the history of the event in the US. Can't verify it though... still, I know it's very low. Maybe a tad paranoid....
