Done it as a hobby for years. It's really easy to make a profit because it bounces so much you can just hold on until you are positive again.

I'm guessing you are on a 200:1 margin. If you feel like playing with real money but on a less volatile platform check out www.oanda.com. You can only set your leverage up to 50:1 for common currency pairs and 25:1 for the less traded ones. Also you can trade between 1 and unlimited units so you can literally play with a couple of bucks. They also pay their interest every day, I love it.

Does it not charge you if you hold it for over a day?

I just get a truck, drive to canada with like $20K in cash, convert it to pennies at banks, then bring the pennies back to the US in rolls to convert them into US money :D

nah, actually I dont do any currency trading but I sure as fuck get a lot of this goddamn "get rich on small fluctuations of the euro!" spam

Actually, my brother in law makes a few hundred a day trading currency. He is fairly new at it, but seems to be doing ok so far.

unless you're good, hot streaks typically end pretty badly.

Tip: The US$ is currently worth shit. Buy up now, because after the election (no matter who wins) things will sort themselves out and the $ will rise in value once.
