    Warning: Firefox 1.0 PR fucked up my OS

    spent 4 hours talking to tech support before someone that knew shit from shinola could tell me how the fuck to get to a dos prompt and able access the hard drive...

                            had to change some settings in my bios to change the raid controller to ata so that the windows xp recovery console would find my harddrive... the drivers on floppy didn't work....

                            then finally got the dos prompt and had to rebuild the bootcfg... like bootcfg /rebuild

                            that was pretty much it... but it was a bitch to finally get access to my harddrive in dos... through 5 tech support peeps i had to go through all they could suggest was format the fucking harddrive and reinstall xp... finally got a tech that knew his shit...

                              went back to 0.9.3... not gonna try the new one until a later version...

                                  yeah, theres usually one at each company
                                  lucky for you he was working when you called
                                  the only thing i can suggest to avoid this in the future is get a copy of vmare and run all your apps inside of that. a min install of xp plus vmware can be a life saver plus it makes life easier when doing a full backup
