    Ducati Cafe Racer

I can't wait to get my hands on one of these

This isn't the bike you'll see your local idiot street racer riding.

That's got that classic Cafe Racer look that was lost in the 70's/

My best friend just sold me his 2004 R1 to get one of these. We've always been into sportbikes, so this will be the first time i ride with something like this.

Lets just hope this thing can keep up

I don't think keeping up will be much of a problem. Perhaps it's not going to have the 200mph aero of an R1, or a 'Busa but this thing is a throwback, stylewise to the Cafe Racers of the 70's.

The R1's a hot bike. I'm thinking of getting a few wrecks and building one from the ground up as a project.

Dont get me wrong...the Duc is a beuty. Its stylish, unique and refined. But not too sure if i would use it as my daily-rider.

Its also riding on 1000cc Twin if i'm not mistaken, so its got the power when needed. I cant wait to ride my friends, should be interesting........and its even got WIRE SPOKES!!!!

Yeah you're right on the motor, plenty of power there, but definitely not a straight up sport bike by any means. It's a great compromise between a sport bike and a cruiser.

My regular bike is a Harley-Davidson Fatboy, so this will be a nice addition to the garage. I am thinking an R1 will finish up the collection nicely.

I like it, it's a hot bike and a fast, nimble ride for the money.

However, I have no need to do 200mph nor do I need to carve turns like a figure skater.

I prefer to cruise and just enjoy the scenery. I have no intention of ever putting a bike on a track so I don't need a ton of power or handling. I like to be comfortable when I ride.

They've got a few of these "retro" type models coming out. One I believe is even under $10k.

                        Spend you some brain.
