    wow spyware is getting even better!

    these people are so evil - not only did i get infected with whatever shit this is, it now blocks all the well known anti-spyware(spybot s&d, superantispyware, malabytes, combifix etc) from running - i may be an idiot but not that big of an idiot that i didn't think to change the names of the application files - that worked. and they are even clever enough now that they block you from surfing to all the well known anti-spyware help forums.

                      Does it just block the site to get the software or you installed the software and cant run it?

                      If you installed it and it wont run here is what you do

                      When windows is starting up as soon as the bios screen goes away start hitting f8 a few times, this will alow you to start in safe mode and then you can run the siftware as it only starts the minimal windows services.

                          i have the software already - i changed the names of the .exe files and that lets me run the software. I'm pissed though that I can't get to majorgeeks.com to read their guide to removing malware.

                          when i reboot again i will attempt to start up in Safe Mode - but the last time i tried tapping F8 it didn't work.

                              there are some spyware that disables the internet if you remove it

                              i don't know how often i had to reinstall due to that inconvenience

                                      I got a super nasty about 2 weeks ago. It was in everything. Had to do a wipe and re-install. I feel your pain.

                                      I haven't had a virus in years and thought I was locked down.. somehow it still got through.

                                              sometimes it's f5, it depends on the computer

                                              use a web proxy to go to majorgeeks

                                              but running malwarebytes or combofix alone doesn't fix the problem?

                                              also, (if you don't know), with combofix, you sometimes need to show a log on an expert forum and then they tell you what to remove and how to do it manually
