    Anyone play with penny stocks?

    Im interested in fucking around with the markets - just to play around.

    Any good sites/software you know of?

                      But ameritrade's screener helped me alot.

                          I tried it. thought i'd be rich by now. somebody told me about a company who does on demand video, & said they were supposed to go big time. here it is a year & half later & stocks been up & down , still pretty much have the same amount of money as when I started. usvo

                              I tried it in the past but the spread usually fucks you from making too much on true penny stocks.

                                      Although the spreads are very tempting, I'd stay away....since Nasdaq Small caps and Pink Sheets/Bulletin Boards are lightly regulated and prone to pump and dump scams. Also, be very wary of reverse merged companies in these smaller cap markets.

                                          Has anyone ever profited from consumer's reactions to those "TRADING ALERT" spams? (Besides the spammers themselves, of course...)

                                          I was thinking that a well timed trade could catch some of the flurry of buying activities that the emails probably generate.
