I usually take $500 in cash and just use it when I need or want to pay cash...but use my debit card mostly. When $500 runs out I go to the banking machine and get more. I have $85 left...that will do me for a bit =)Comment

I never understood why people do that debit shit, I use my card from my bank marked with a visa logo just like a CC but the cash comes directly from my account when used as a charge. NEVER use the card as a debit unless your bank sucks like that and they make you, which incurs massive fees.Originally posted by coolone

I usually don't take more than $20 out and that is to cover the very few places I go that don't accept my debit card. My bank doesn't charge any service charges and their ATMs are plentiful enough that I've never had to pay a service charge at someone elses ATM..Comment
