Most that I've seen (including ours at PimpRoll and Adult Elite) are professionally done with the paysite tours in mind, using relevant quality content and text.

I would take my queues when building my own galleries from the tour and sponsor-built promo tools, and use quality content(!important) and marketing text(!important).

The question is sort of impossible to answer though really, since FHG's and "regular" galleries are not used in the same ways. FHG's are generally filler for the list owners, not for submitters to submit. Many list owners will ban you if you submit an FHG taken from a sponsor even.

FHG's do have that professional look though, which can lend to the credibility of the paysite they link to. You should go for that result on your own galleries as well.
