you grew up on 8cyl loud bubbling caming cars, we grew up with sport compact cars being the new thing... dont get me wrong, i have much love and respect for pure hp DM beasts, but in todays time, kids (mainly my age) like tuning cars with small displacement and low hp from the start..
i never said these cars were fast stock, shit, they are slow as balls stock, but thats the fun of turning them.. taking a slow 4cyl and making it keep up and beat the stangs... i hope to see one day that import tuners and domestics will have a even respect for one another, we all are tuners... just with different taste, but always remember, we are both taking a car and making it better then before, and we all should be given props for that

i love your s2k Lace, as far as the RB26DETT engine fitting in it... answer is yes, answer for that question for any car is yes... with money, anything is possible.. always keep that in mind.
but the RB26DETT has been dropped into the S14 a few times, very pricy though and the RB engines are more so bragging rights then anything, dont get me wrong, they got alot of power, but for the same money, you can have an SR's hp range higher..
dont forget moding the RB series is expensive just because of the fact its a skyline engine, skyline = Bling, nothing comes cheap with them.

Personally I dont like riced out hondas with coffee can mufflers, but I have seen some boys run 9's, 10's & 11's in 1/4 in simple stock looking every days cars. Beleive me, if you knew what it took to make those cars do that you would understand why its impressive to some. Especially when a car comes with 110horses staright out of the box and was never designed to do any of the things they do with them.
I guess you have to an enthusiast of sorts, which in a nutshell we can gather your not.
Still no reason to hate on others for their enthusiasm.
Personally I love the old classics just as much as I like some of the new tricked out models, i can appreciate every car for what it really is. Some cars are near perfect in stock form, but given the $ and resources they all can benefit from a few mods.....
The most important thing to remember for some of these enthusiast guys tho is, that driving a stock car not matter how nice or expensive or cool it is, is about as much fun as shoveling shit for a living.
