                                        I have a 250hp tuned up Eagle Talon TSI Turbo and it's not even close to the feeling of 120miles/h in karting that feels like 240miles/h in a car.

                                        Racing needs a racer. And a racer is someone who knows how to handle corners at high speed, not speeding up at 200miles/h in straight line on a public highway.

                                                        Its pretty mild 521 inch big block Ford. Powerglide 2 speed. Made 620ish at the tires. Went 9.60s a few times. I run it in nostalgia match races with a Ford Dealers advertising for the last 7 years

                                                            Racing is F1, Rally Championship, Champ Car, Formula Ford, F3000, whatever that require a lot of skills in many different area to perform well.

                                                            Drag or straight line is not Racing in my book... it's my opinion.

                                                                I've got a friend of mine with a 2000 honda s2000 with about 450wrhp pushing 18psi.
                                                                so you figure about over 50k into that car and it runs mid 11's and can HANDLE, something your "muscle cars" will NEVER do, ever.

                                                                Also know someone with a s2000 that should be breaking single digits

                                                                Now see, that's respectable. Not something you see everyday. Everytime I go to the track, 90%+ is mustangs and camaros...same ol' worthless shit. Get up with times pal.

The C6 version of the Z06 is going to have 500HP and do it with a big ol' engine. If they were going to "follow" imports wouldn't they just have made it turbo?
