There's a couple of purposes.
1. For those who can't make it on election day, and don't trust absentee ballots. I had my absentee ballot "lost" while I was serving over seas.
2. To give the pollsters and campaign managers real numbers to work with for last minute campaigning.Alt Journals, Blogs for Perverts!

well one reason is that they see this years election being packed!!! another is some cant make it on the election day!SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.Comment
