    updating your resume

What are you going to put on your resume if all you've done is work in this industry?

Ok, maybe you were a cart/stock boy, delivered papers, and worked at a video rental shop. But for the past few years this is all you've done.

It shouldn't come down to even needing a resume, but assuming you wanted to look for an offline job. How are you going to get hired?

Also, how much is a college/university degree really worth in getting hired these days. It seems everybody has one, so it doesn't mean jack.

I may say the truth. Did the marketing for adult sites.

If they get horrified, it wouldn't be a fun environment to work anyway.

I could swear most employers will think its cool, or if the job is related to the web, they will respect you. It's kinda bigger stereotype than it really is.

I don't know Ana. Not sure how laid back real world employees are. It's a whole different ball game. Remember, they have no idea how this industry works. When they think adult, they think seedy diseased pimps and prostitutes.

Hold your head up! The mainstream is waking up to the truth that the disciplines, skills and quickness of thinking needed to succeed in THIS biz are far superior to what your average Joe Corporate could ever possess.

Probably just put up my shingle. Activate my status and start networking with friends re contract and other issues. If anything, the last 4 years have given me enough biz experience to hopefully make my practice (should I ever choose to go that route) viable.

I think as long as you have the skills and experience that is required for the 'New Job' you have applied for then I dont think it would make a blind bit of difference what your previous job was!
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
