    O mankind! Verily there hath come to you a convincing proof from your Lord: for We have sent unto you a light (that is) manifest.

    On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may peace be upon him) who reported that the Allah's Messenger (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said:
    "Many an observer of fast gets only hunger and thirst as the sole reward for his fasting, and many an observer of night prayer gets only the staying awake at night as the sole reward for his night prayer."
