In baseball, an error is the act, in the judgment of the official scorer, of a fielder misplaying a ball in a manner that allows a batter or runner to reach one or more additional bases, on a play that would normally be completed successfully with ordinary effort. It normally does not count as a hit and the batter will not be credited for any RBIs (if runs are scored) - unless, in the scorer's judgement, the batter would have reached first base safely but one or more of the additional base(s) reached was the result of the fielder's mistake - in that case the play will be scored both as a hit (for whatever number of bases the fielders should have limited the batter to) and an error.7Comment

Sorry I don't understand the term they use. What makes an "error" in baseball?SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.Comment

He said "should catch".
**exeption** If you had the f--king umps that all of a sudden decided to meet and discuss plays after they were already called, like in the Yankee-Bosox series. Next you'll have instant reply. Don't change the fucking game. Umpire mistakes were part of the it!Comment
