Unfortunatley, you are blurting what clueless white politicians say about islam.
Muslims do not describe themselves as either moderates of extremists. Only white westerners differentiate between "moderates and extremists"
I lived in a muslim country for 2 years and have experienced islam personally. I've seen entire villages that were poisoned to death by rival muslim clans. Mercy is viewed as weakness to a muslim. Compassion is viewed as weakness...
Secular western civilization is based on compassion, tolerance... and mercy for the weak
