Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much to do with race as it does a clash of cultures.
The muslims and non-whites are bringing over an alien culture of crime and poverty. It is threatening France. These problems need to be addressed
I hope that things work out for you and mother stays safe... But please don't under-estimate the gravity of the situation. This is a clash of civilizations... You won't be able to stay neutral... you will have to choose sides
