i hope things get better there. And Muslims should not be treated that way. I know there are some extremists, but for the "most part" they are peaceful people. I don't understand it.....The same could be said there are extremists in every religious sect in the world. It's really sad.

I'm really not trying to slam the French but I have to call a spade a spade. It is NOT a very immigrant tolerant society. I don't believe in terrorism and I don't believe in any violence. But on the other hand, I see things like this and I can "ALMOST" see why it starts.
Yes, Paris is where the fires occured killing children and families. There is no apartment shortage in Paris. The truth is there are plenty of good places to rent but if you
1) Are not white
2) Don't have between 4 - 5 months of security plus 2 years of pay stubs and a co-signer
No one is going to rent you a place to live.
New migrants to France, regardless of how good their jobs are, are not going to be able provide 2 years of paystubs and they don't know anyone to guarantee for them.

witnessed the police harrasment of black men and muslims,
personally attended the speaches listened with my own ears the crap coming out of the mouths of politicians.
But perhaps this is the real problem. It is often said of France there are 2 types of people.
Those that see and do nothing.
And those that are angry and fustrated.
I guess I know what category I fit into.
There is more to life than "Eat," "Sleep" and "Excrete."
It has become very obvious on GFY I am very politically active.
I make it a point to have first hand facts before I open my mouth.
But is someone refuses to see the writing on the wall... You are no better than monsters that commit the acts.
So as I see it, you either give a damn about your fellow humanbeings or you don't.
