            Maybe he has a .htaccess file redirecting google bot IPs back to google, its possible and would explain it... i guess?

                    The problem with the way that this was done, is that the DNS zone IP is redirected back to Google so any type of PR building efforts etc. that come from this site are basically worthless. If you look at Google's cache of the page, it's Google itself. That means that the page isn't even being looked at by the bot and that any relevant keywords/links/trades are never even seen by the spider.

                        This has been going on for a couple of years, when everyone cared including Google about PR it was great.
                        get a new domain and get some links coming in to get it to a low pr so google bot is coming in. Slap up a redirect to a nice/ simialry themed domain with a nice PR, leave it alone until google updates.

                        turmn off the redirect

                        Come to GFY and Casino boards and ask to exchange links with the morons.

                        The trick for me was to get the domain a fake PR 6-7 any more and it was way to sussed, then exchange links with enough similar ranking sites so hopefully when Google updated yet you genually got the PR you were after anyway )

                        Worked a charm
