How the fuck is the sponsor getting a set of 100 to 150 images with 15 of them similar? This should not be possible, let alone be a problem for the affiliates.
The problem arises because of the respect paid to the product we sell and the people we sell to.
No other business would put as little thought to it's product and to it's clients as this business does. That's a generalisation but please don't come up with 5 examples of people who don't think that way to contradict the other 5,000.
Think about it for 5 minutes, how much money, time and effort is spent on the product we sell and how much on gettin the surfer to see it?
I would say the balance is very heavy in favour of showing the product. The viewer see something he's not impressed with and moves on. The sponsor thinks the solution is more traffic and spends more time on traffic than converting the people he is already getting.
Some sponsors see the solution to low affiliate activity/traffic as "get more affiliates" when it could be simply get the ones you have working for you.
But then many sponsors think the most important thing about content is the price they pay. We get asked to shoot exclusive, quote and then see the job given to people who to be honest could not shoot porn to save their lives, because they were cheaper. If they can't can't convert/retain more surfers and affiliates with better content then ask yourself what they will do with your traffic.
There is no excuse for you not getting 20 softish shots of all different poses and NO SET SHOULD CONTAIN MORE THAN TWO IMAGES THE SAME OR THREE IMAGES SIMILAR but when you pay peanuts you get monkeys.
There are over 25 basic poses, shoot half of them clothed, 2/3 semi naked and all naked. Then vary the angle of the model by turning her or by shooting different side of your lights. Then add "PINK", fingers and vibrator insrtion and you have over 200 differnet pictures with absolutely no problems.
As I said at the beginning how is the sponsor able to give you 15 poses the same?
But then I blame the sponsors, how many affiliates only sign up based on the % figure and the freebies?
