I've already said that we should be invading other states, but I also said that the US cannot do everything itself. Why can't my country (UK) invade Zimbabwe? After all, it's our ex-colony.
The UN is a joke. It failed to lift a finger to stop the Rwanda genocide. It has failed in Sudan. Also in Zimbabwe. And on and on. And of course, the UN was complicit in the complete criminal comedy which was the Oil for Food program.
The UN has a purpose, but if it cannot fullfil it's purpose then it should not be used. As a reminder, I should state that it was the UN which put China at the head of a human rights commission, Saudi Arabia at the head of a womens rights commission and Libya at the head of an anti-terrorism commission. You couldn't make it up. Maybe we shuld also put a convicted rapist at the head of an anti-rape commission and a child molester at the head of a child protection commission.
