It is not a marketing stunt at all. Their lawyers have told them to not go public with who it is. They could be held accountable for that and it can have a negative affect on them. I have spoken with people from Mansion regarding this and they are taking this very seriously.
The reason they issued a statement to begin with is so that once they cut off this program, that the program could not go and start flaming them for shutting them down. Someone was caught stealing plain and simple, you should be thanking Mansion for making sure they protect their system and the people who purchase their liscense. When the time is right it will be made known who it was. Also think by BIG sponsor it means someone doing big amounts of joins, not big on GFY. That's a big difference. The program that it is/was is not online right now. That's all the info I have.
People calling this a sham are just trying to drum up so silly GFY drama.
