Bringing her flowers when you pick her up is romantic ;)
Be sure to select a great bottle of wine at dinner and don't be shy to ask the waiter what he recommends, then you won't be at fault if the wine sucks.
If she is a laid back girl, how about bowling or one of those fun indoor game places. Arcade, etc.
If she is a little more reserved? Then I would opt for a jazz bar.
I would also not make it a late night unless you only want to get laid. If you want to hang with her more in the future, then keep the first date light and fun and leave her wanting more...
just my 2cents. Have a great time and don't worry about what you do or where you go so much. Some of my best dates have been because of who the guy was.
