    Dropping Paypal and using Epassporte for a hosting company?

    Is this a viable option?


    I am sick and tired of paypal, and after a recent crazy ass play by them im ready to stop using them period.

    Is it possible to use epassporte as a merchant account so that first time users can pay without having an account (but in the meantime creating one)?

    Will accepting only epassporte diminish the number of clients? How many of you have epassporte?


    (of course if they allow payment without an account, this wouldnt be a problem)

      Epassporte

      More and more sponsors are using it to payout affiliates and it's so easy to give accounts away, I think it's gonna become very common.

      I still find most people have paypal when I try to bill clients but more and more have epassporte every day.

          Your potential client will have to have an epassporte account in order to send you money. One of my main issues with epassporte is that you can only fund in in increments of $50, and the more you fund, the higher the fee to do so.

              I believe they do have an option to either create the account on the spot or login as an existing one to pay.

              I'd say right now paypal is more in use, but depends on your target. People looking for hosting, esp. adult clients, are more likely to have (or have soon) an epassporte account.

              For an example, we have numerous affiliates who wish to be paid by epassporte, few by neteller but none by paypal.

                  Just get a mainstream credit card processor and take epass optional.

                      yeah, but theres always the bunch that dont want to use direct CC processing but one of these online payment options

                          that should be a given, epass and Paypal should only be options, mainstream CC should be the primary method

                              I would suspect that anyone requesting to pay by epass would already have an account with them

                                  I think if your dealing with webmaster business only then using epassporte would be a viable soloution. If selling products to non webmasters it would get increasingly difficult.

                                          I get paid a few hundred in Epassporte a month. Would be a nice way to spend some of it.
