And yes, calling it the way it is reall does bode well for my image. Sometimes I use abbrasive lingo to nail that point home, but there are definitely those here who are a whole lot more abbrasive than I.
With so many disasters in the world in the past few months alone, it's no wonder that the countries who usually "tow the line" might be a bit overwhelmed by it all. Not many countries can afford to keep forking out 10, 20 or 50 million bucks every few weeks for the disaster-de-jeur, especially when many of them (like the US) have major disasters of their own they can barely handle.
More understanding and appreciation is needed, not more fingerpointing.
