    Affiliates speak now or forever hold your peace!

    Well, not forever But at least a few months.

    We're preparing NATS v3 for release in Vegas.

    We want to hear from you, the affiliates, about what YOU want in the program. Please, let us know what you want.

    We're not releasing all the details on what we're planning so far but a few things...

    We are doing a new much better looking "base" interface for programs. Programs can and will still of course edit their templates to look how they wish but the programs who choose not to will be given a much prettier interface for their affiliates.

    More indepth stats will be provided. We're going to do our best to blow everyone away with what they can see stats wise. This is one thing we're not revealing details on until launch but all feedback is appreciated on what you would like to see. You can post here or contact us directly of course.

    Multi-language/multi-template. We're adding a full blown multi-language/multi-template system. This will function as skins so that you can view the "base" templates mentoned above in various languages even if the affiliate program does customization (as long as they choose to still keep the base skin) and we'll include base skins for WAP stats, etc.

    We'll be adding lots of neat gizmos like RSS feeds for hosted galleries, more geo-targetting stuff, etc.

    There is a lot to come. I know it sounds cliche but you haven't seen anything yet We'd love your input. We value affiliate's opinion of our software just as much as the program owners so please, let us know what you would like to see.

      Comon guys, i've seen a lot of people who always have gripes and wish nats was this way or that way... this is a good opportunity to share your suggestions in an appropriate thread... cause in the end.. it benefits you, the affiliate

          All of the affiliates that I have talked to just don't want to be cheated but feel that they are. I don't think NATS means anything to them. They feel they are cheated because the stats they have don't make any sense vs. the stats that their sponsors have. Maybe you should focus on the client side software that talks to your server side software.

              Quick question about a NATS feature:
              How do you add thumbnail previews to "Downloadable Content" in the adtools section? All i see is "Name / Group / Content Zip", but no add thumbnail field. This would be nice to have, therefore affiliates wouldnt have to download large zip files just to preview the free content.

                  how about for the referral links to be the same? for example

                  when i got to "Link Codes" i get this url: http://www.teendolls.com/track/Mzk6NDo0/

                  .......ok forget it, you must've already fixed it, used to be another linking option where it would be something like http://www.teendolls.com/user=?13
                  or something

                  only should be 1 linking code, and then the option with encoding or not

                  but like i said, looks like it's already fixed

                          Some like it, some don't. Some prefer CCBill. Some prefer custom. Some prefer something else. I speak with a lot of affiliates and I try to do it anonymously. The vast majority I speak to like NATS overall. There are usually a few little areas where they feel it can be imrpoved. Thats what we're looking for here.

                          By "stats they have vs. stats their sponsors have" and "click side software that talks to your server side software" I have no clue what you mean. Are you sure you know what NATS is?

                              Are you talking about the referral code for sending to the affiliate program itself?

                              That can be linked two ways. It can be linked directly with the /?user=13 like you said or it can be setup as a full site in NATS and linked with the normal link codes and tracked via campaigns, etc. That is why you might see it both ways sometimes. The vast majority of programs use the 2nd method and set it up as a full blown site.

                                      Yes I am sure that I know what it is. I was just suggesting that you may want to investigate the possibility that everyone doesn't belive in you. So maybe you should focus on software that is not only under the sponsor's control

                                          Good question. There's an outside chance it's a template mistake. I will speak with Fabian in the morning and let you know.

                                                      Here's what i would like to see, its hard to explain, but ill try...

                                                      Under the "admin stats" section (the page that shows date/rawhits/unqhits/ratio/etc). When you click one of the unique hits links - it loads a page with a huuuuuuge table with 1000+ rows of all the referrals for that day. Instead of showing all the referral websites for that day, is there any way just to show the referrals that have actually sent a signup? Maybe have a small "referral signup summary" table on top of the regular "referral" table with all the referral links that have just sent only signups for that day (that way you don't have to skim the huuuuge table to see what referral sites perform best). You'de then have a clean table showing exactly where the signups are coming, and you'll have a cleaner view of what galleries are selling the best for that day, etc...

                                                      For example if i submit a movie gallery, and this one gallery has 100+ recip pages. Some recip pages get alot of hits and send decent traffic to the sponsor, some only get a few hits. So when i view this huuuge referral table its hard to see how each individual gallery performs because each individual .html page gets its own referral on the table - so each recip page that sends traffic gets its own row in this huuuge table and everything gets mixed up with all the other referrals. So instead of having to search the entire huuuuge table to see how many signups this gallery makes, there could be a summary on top showing just the referrals with signups...

                                                          i love NATS more and more with each upgrade... this is truly great software

                                                          one thing i would like in the Admin panel for us owners is the ability to not load all the hosted galleries or zip content each time we open the page to add new ones... i have over 500 so it's a huge page to load every time for no reason

                                                          some sort of pruning would be cool... is that do-able at all in any way?
                                                          New models booked and shot every week... MILFs, pornstars and teens. Girls for every niche and project.

                                                                      Instead of sorting the hosted galleries by date (newest on top), is there a way for the affiliates to sort by alphabetical order?

                                                                      For example lets say i have 500 hosted pornstar galleries. Instead of having to search every 500 hosted galleries for a certain pornstar, can they just look her up alphabetically?

                                                                                              - select a campaign from pulldown menu
                                                                                              - click on 'Next Step'
                                                                                              - select program to use from pulldown menu
                                                                                              - click on 'Next Step'

                                                                                              At this point I have link codes for one particular campaign. I have to repeat this process for every campaign and it can take a while if you use many campaigns.

                                                                                              Ideally, I'd like to be able to select a site, a program and then view, on one page, all of the link codes for each campaign.

                                                                                              Alternatively, perhaps consider not having to create a campaign before using it much like perfectgonzo does it. Here's a quote from PerfectGonzo's site:

                                                                                              To track special promotional campaigns, you can add a SHORT, ALPHANUMERIC (only letters and numbers, no spaces, dashes, odd characters etc..) to the end of the linking code that is less than 20 characters. If you need help using this feature please contact support.


                                                                                              Given a choice, I'd prefer the perfectgonzo method of handling campaigns. But if you continue on your current path, then the ability to import a list of campaigns would be useful as well. I tend to use the same campaign names for many affiliate programs and it would save me time if I could simply provide a file with all the campaign names that I want shortly after signing up for a program instead of having to create them one-by-one.

                                                                                                                                  Im not sure how your back end works but from I see it is all pretty centralised accross various programs.

                                                                                                                                  What about a central control panel for the various NATS programs I promote. It could be anything from just a running total from all sites - perhaps in a standalone program - to a full blown system where I can get and do everything for all networks with just one login.

                                                                                                                                  It could do stats comparisons (although Im not sure the sponsors would like that), integrated banner management - top converting sites getting better weighting etc.

                                                                                                                                  It would seriously shake things up. Sponsors would have to perform to stay in the game.

                                                                                                                                  But Im guessing thats exactly why it wont happen LOL

                                                                                                                                                                  A lot of these features listed NATS can already do but the site owners don't know how to do it..

                                                                                                                                                                  1) NATS can send emails on every signup the webmaster produces, you just can't turn it off for your account so many programs don't use it.
                                                                                                                                                                  2) Programs can have quick linking codes right on the first page when you login, or any page within the system.
                                                                                                                                                                  3) NATS does offer a mass stat checking program, I just don't remember the name.
                                                                                                                                                                  4) You can auto add campaigns to your linking codes.

                                                                                                                                                                  NATS has a ton of features that many many program owners don't use, don't know about, and don't understand.

                                                                                                                                                                              1) Every email type should be able to go out to webmasters and that webmaster should be able to turn them on/off.

                                                                                                                                                                              2) Hosted Gallery Statistics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least clicks from a gallery and joins from a gallery, that shouldn't be to hard to setup. More stats the better

                                                                                                                                                                              3) Hits sent to the exits, maybe a redirect code so we can track overall clicks from exits.

                                                                                                                                                                              4) The THANK YOU page after a signup should display the new members username & password.. At least for CCBill & Epoch. This is a MUST feature.. Enough that I will pay to have it done tomorrow if possible.

                                                                                                                                                                              5) Built in lookup tools for members, look up user info, billing details, etc.

                                                                                                                                                                              6) Better edit member details & information. Change sites, change membership types, etc..

                                                                                                                                                                              7) Some may want this automated but myself I would like to set it by hand. I would like to be able to make a webmasters account use a set cascade. So if that webmaster wants to only send to ccbill then it will send his visitors to the ccbill cascade.

                                                                                                                                                                              8) Billing Ping & Uptime checks.. A system that checks to see if the billing company is up, if it isn't then it changes the cascades to use the alt processor until that billing company comes back online.

                                                                                                                                                                              9) Better admin protection, enter my Cclass into the config and only my Cclass can access the admin area.

The NATS owner only needs to put {$active_members} in the members stats template.
