In high school one of our substitute teachers was writing on the board and no one was paying any attention until he swapped hands mid sentence and continued writing. If you didn't see him do it you neverwould have known - the writing was identical with both hands...

Actually that's a result of human adaptation. It is a defense mechanism. Should one loose an appendage such as an arm, the body has learned to pleasure itself with both sides of the body as to keep the person from going crazy.
