Good to see it's coming down by you too.Originally posted by candyflip$2.55 is the cheapest here in town...unless you get a car wash, then you can save another $.10 per gallon.Comment

There are still a few local stations hovering just below $3.00Originally posted by EroticySteveGood to see it's coming down by you too.
This is when you get to see who's gouging the public. I'm sure they'll notice a drop in revenue when things level out and people avoid them.Comment

I didn't think it would retreat as fast as it is. I figured we'd be over $3.00 for a year.
We're smart people. We're going to get lots of information and someone will be clever enough to find a way to punish or penalize the oil companies should they continue to gouge us.Comment

Damn Americans... We're one of the bigger supplyers of oil (Norway) and we still pay almost $ 2 pr. liter!!!
Time you Yankees start buying some smaller cars don't you think?Comment

Thank you Roger. I appreciate the sentiment.Originally posted by PoKoDamn Americans... We're one of the bigger supplyers of oil (Norway) and we still pay almost $ 2 pr. liter!!!

You can't change a culture overnight. Which is what the oil companies attempted to do.
Sure, I think a lot of people will buy smaller cars, but that doesn't solve the situation for many people who've recently bought larger cars and have had a budget for fuel at a certain price.
The net effect of the recent cost increases will be that Americans pay more attention to their dollars and cents by stretching a gallon further than they had.
However, don't needlessly penalize me the consumer because you the oil company can't manage your own production properly. If thigns get screwed up that should be on you, not on us.
If you fall on hard times, do you think your boss is going to say, "Look, we feel bad, here's a raise, now you make twice as much." No they wont. It's your problem.
I say that if the oil companies can't manage production and supply chain issues it's their fault not ours they should bite the bullet.Comment

Are you insane? How else are people going to know i have a huge penis unless i drive an f-350 truck!?Originally posted by PoKoDamn Americans... We're one of the bigger supplyers of oil (Norway) and we still pay almost $ 2 pr. liter!!!

Thanks for your reply. It's true some people only drive big cars because they can. However, there's no need to penalize them for this. In time gradual increases in fuel cost will help people keep up with them. When gas goes up in price by 50% overnight and no other prices go up at the same rate, you have a problem.Originally posted by hydroAre you insane?
