    Got shot at tonight

    I've had guns pulled on me before, never been shot at.

    Tonight, we're driving home from the bar hammered, our driver, an off duty cop in Costa Rica decides he wants to fire our carry pieces just out the window in to a vacant lot. So we do, two clips through a Sign P229 and two clips through a Glock 19 .. Everything is going good until the guard we didn't know was there, in the condos across the street hears the shots and decides to shoot back. He just starts shooting widly, at no target what so ever. Nobody hit, nobody hurt. Still, biggest adrenline rush ever, being shot at and all.

    Oh, what a night.

              Costa is such a blast. It's like the wild west here. We go shooting with on duty police officers for escorts. Costs $30 for their time.

              Never really had any problems either. Only trouble ever really happened was some Domincan Negro thought he was the man, threatened to shoot my partner in the head for standing in his way talking to a cab driver. Stupid bastard never knew I was behind him. Rear naked choke and 2 minutes later he was our very best friend, buying drinks and trading war stories. Hard to be the man when you're near unconcious from lack of blood, I guess anyway. ;)

                              Cable modem speeds were just upgraded from 512/128 to 2mbit/256 for no extra charge. I have two modems personally, so a total of 4 mbits down and a half a mbit up. Not too shabby at all. $70 per modem for a grand total of $140 for my particular access. Downside is each modem includes only 1 extenal IP address and no more can be added, which lead to me having two modems. Although, originally I got two modems becuase each was only 512k down .. I keep two now for the dual Ips which is important to a gallery submitter like me

                                      being shot at is scary... did you hear the bullets? they make a wizzing swirling sound when they fly past you

                                      its hard to describe the sound.. it doesn't sound like anything else... its just ripping through the wind so fast that it makes like a wizzing sound... i dunno... u know what i'm describing?

                                                                                              I've been shot at before in the states. I ran across a drug deal ON MY OWN FREAKING LAND and they took about 12 pot shots at me with a rifle. I could literally hear the bullets wizzing inches from my ear and through the leaves around me. Fun stuff.

We were shooting in to the ground about 20 feet away in a big chunk of empty land.

Must have given the guy a heart attack.
