The past few years it's become a yearly tradition for my wife and I to have our shopping done before Thanksgiving. We managed to pull it off again this year.
During the year when we come across stuff that we think would go over good for Christmas, we but it and put it away in my office closet. A week before thanksgiving we have a list ready, we compare prices, and then we go buy stuff. It's really not fucking difficult.
This year we also got a bunch of gift certificates from Amazon.com, I bought some stuff there too. It all came second day shipping. Sweet.Herschel Savage

Got a few more gifts to buy and do groceries for baking etc and that's about it. Finally got a tree today waiting for it to fall then trim it. I'm usually done everything by now except for baking. Damn Christmas came fast this year it seems.Comment

FINALLY all done except for stocking stuffers which I'll grab at the grocery store and I still have to make the apple butter I'm going to attempt to make (and will probably end up buying at local orchard).
I wrap everything Christmas Eve. It's like a wrapping paper orgy in the guest room - paper and tape and bows everywhere with the baby gate to keep the dogs out.Comment
