well, sextracker has been around for a long time and some of the biggest TGP's use it, but counters like that do tend to pull some dirty tricks a little now and then.....

The point I am making is that the option is available with my counter for people to try it. The feedback on the count accuracy is good and most of the stats reports within the admin should cover most peoples needs.Comment

Just wondering what you find as the reasons for using counters.
1) Do counters add to your back link popularity and PageRank in Google?
2) Do you get convertable traffic from the directories/searches associated with counters?
I have real-time dynamic stats across all my domains, so getting better web stats would not be the payoff for me.
Outside of stats, how do counters benefit you?
I know this thread is about SexCounter, but rather than starting a new one - how about SexTracker? Are they worth the outbound PageRank loss?
